Come along to our fun, Little Acorns Halloween Garden workshop - the perfect introduction to nature-friendly gardening for pre-school children.
During our workshops, we encourage children to explore the natural world through planting seeds, growing plants and nature-themed crafts. There are so many benefits to introducing your Little Acorn to gardening at an early age such as thinking about their environment and developing social skills as they have fun together.
It’s also the ideal way for children and guardians alike to make new friends!
During this activity we will be having some spooky fun and will be making a Halloween Garden for you to take home and display. In the garden we will be planting some flowers that are orange like pumpkins and purple like witches brew! We will also be adding some spooky characters along a twisting pathway.
The children are welcome to dress in Halloween costumes just for fun! (as long as the costume is practical to take part in the craft session).
Date: Wednesday 22nd October
Time: 9:45 - 10:30 am
(The end time is only a guideline and the session may overrun slightly depending on group size)
All materials are provided and you will also be given some nature-friendly worksheets to take home with you.
After the activity the children will wind down with a juice, biscuit, story and song.
You will also receive an attendance card and each child will receive a special certificate after attending their 5th workshop.
