Come along to our fun, Little Acorns Getting To Know Herbs activity - the perfect introduction to nature-friendly gardening for pre-school children.
During our workshops, we encourage children to explore the natural world through planting seeds, growing plants and nature-themed crafts. For this activity we will be getting to know herbs through touch and smell, planting some basil seeds in our decorated pots and talking about how herbs make our food tasty.
All materials are provided and you will also be given some nature-friendly worksheets to take home with you.
After the activity the children will wind down with a juice, biscuit and a story or song.
