Come along to our fun, Little Acorns Cress Heads making workshop - the perfect introduction to nature-friendly gardening for pre-school children.
During our workshops, we encourage children to explore the natural world through planting seeds, growing plants and nature-themed crafts. There are so many benefits to introducing your Little Acorn to gardening at an early age such as thinking about their environment and developing social skills as they have fun together.
It’s also the ideal way for children and guardians alike to make new friends!
During this activity we will be making ‘Cress Head Pots’ to help young children understand how food grows from seed.
All materials are provided and you will also be given some nature-friendly worksheets to take home with you.
After the activity the children will wind down with a juice, biscuit and a story or song.
