The workshop is perfect for both complete beginners and those who may have previous hand printing experience. Melanie’s unique stencilling system means you can look forward to taking home a cushion cover decorated with a design that is one of a kind. 

You will learn:

• ·        the basic techniques to achieving great stencilling results on paper and fabric
• ·        how to piece together the various plant shapes to build your own design.
• ·        Hints and tips on how to enjoy more complex layering effects
• ·        print eye-catching designs using single and multiple colours and blending techniques.
• ·        Guidance on composition

At the end of the session, information will be provided on how to fix the paint so that your cushion cover is hand washable.

​All materials including aprons will be available on the day, but please wear clothes you are happy to get mucky.
