Rag Rugging Workshop at Barton Grange
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to design and craft your own unique Rag Rug using traditional techniques. After getting to grips with the essential tools you will begin creating your rug with 100% pure wool blanket yarn - a waste product from UK mills.
Your course includes:
Your own latch hook
1 x 250g ball of blanket yarn
100 x 60 cm hessian mat
You’ll leave the workshop with the skills and confidence to finish your rug at home, and additional supplies will be available to purchase on the day to allow you to complete your rug.
Your tutors, Alison and Lorraine, are both experienced teachers and self-confessed rag rug addicts! Be warned: after this workshop, you might just find yourself hooked too!
